McKale Marquis Scholarship

This $500 scholarship was created in honor of McKale Marquis – an energetic, fun, bright little girl with Down Syndrome, who attended the HCC Child Development Lab from 2009-2015. She participated fully in the regular classroom environment and thrived at the CDL – influencing everyone with her “upbeat, can-do attitude.” She had tremendous support from her teachers, peers, and administrators at the CDL. The inclusive education model of the CDL has helped set the stage for learning environments we will continue to seek for McKale as she continues her education in the public school setting.
