Don and Jo Eiker Scholarship

This $1,000 scholarship was created in memory of Don and Jo Eiker. Don spent 48 years as an educator at Lexington High School. Additionally, he was a football and baseball coach before becoming head coach for boys’ basketball at Lexington High School. In 1996 he was inducted into the Illinois Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame. Jo was a homemaker and spent many years working at the Lexington Public Library. Together, the Eikers gave encouragement to many students in the course of their education and sport endeavors
